It is in perfect condition and is minted to the standard of 99.99% purity!! The reverse design has a gorgeous translucent, metallic red maple leaf, a swarovski element, a mini musical staff with the opening notes of O Canada and there is also edge lettering and (01.07.80, the day when O Canada officially became our national anthem). It is also double (1980 – 2020) dated on the reverse. The obverse has the brilliant relief image of Queen Elizabeth II against a satin background. The coin is minted in a beautiful reverse proof finish which means that the maple leaf, the queen’s effigy, etc. Are all in brilliant relief against a frosted or proof background.
