First-ever Canadian Silver Maple Leaf with a Modified Proof finish. Graded perfect 70 by PCGS with certification number 37119435. Rare struck through on the obverse at the bottom edge and rim. First Day of Issue pedigree with the mint engraver series label. Hand signed by the former U. Mint designer Gary Whitley. Whitley was born in Canada and a University of Victoria graduate. He is a lifelong member of the Federation of Canadian Artists since 1978. This is a gorgeous Error Modified Proof Maple Leaf without any spots or toning.
