Montreal 21st Olympiad 1976. Complete Silver Proof Collection in Box. To celebrate and commemorate the XXI Olympic Games in Montreal 1976, Canada issued a series of silver coins in five and ten dollar denominations. The series ran from 1973 to 1976. There were seven pairs of designs in each denomination, making fourteen different designs of coins in each, and twenty eight in total. They were also issued in proof version as well as standard uncirculated finish. The proof sets is housed in a white birch wood and leather de-luxe case, with each coin in its own protective plastic capsule. The case shows some external wear, please see attached photos.
