Coins are gently handled with gloves as they are removed from their mint tube and will come in a plastic direct fit airtite (much nicer than a cheap plastic flip). Note that since the coins are thicker, airtite closes, but not fully, but I prefer it to the ringed airtites. These are Canadian Mint coins, there may be minor scratches or minor spots. 31.1 (1 oz). BU – Brilliant Uncirculated. This beautiful Silver coin features a beautiful Maple Leaf, the national symbol of Canada, with an exceptional coloration. The coin is completely plated with Rhodium, has an UV Printing and is housed in a classic display case, along with the Certificate of Authenticity. Limited mintage to 500 pieces worldwide. The coin’s reverse depicts a beautiful maple leaf plated in Rhodium. The green coloration and the innovative UV printing makes the coin unique. In the top of the reverse, the inscription: Canada the issue country, the fineness of the Silver is present on both sides, left and right: 9999. On the bottom of the coin, the inscription: Fine Silver 1 Oz Argent Pur the weight and the fineness of Silver. On the coin’s obverse the effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, the issue date: 2016 and the face value: 5 Dollars. Rhodium Rhodium is a chemical element with symbol Rh and atomic number 45. It is a rare, silvery-white, hard, and chemically inert transition metal. It is a member of the platinum group. It has only one naturally occurring isotope, 103Rh. Naturally occurring rhodium is usually found as the free metal, alloyed with similar metals, and rarely as a chemical compound in minerals such as bowieite and rhodplumsite. It is one of the rarest and most valuable precious metals. Rhodium is a noble metal, resistant to corrosion, found in platinum- or nickel ores together with the other members of the platinum group metals. It was discovered in 1803 by William Hyde Wollaston in one such ore, and named for the rose color of one of its chlorine compounds, produced after it reacted with the powerful acid mixture aqua regia.
