2021 Canada $20 Black and Gold The Grey Wolf 1oz. 9999 Silver Mintage 4,500

9999 Silver Mintage 4,500. The duality of the wolf is part of what draws us to it, and the yin and the yang of its existence is what this 99.99% pure silver coin conveys. For centuries, the highly intelligent and social species has been feared and unfairly maligned as the villain in childrens stories. Yet it is that same hunting instinct that makes the elusive wolf an essential part of its ecosystem, where it helps maintain the balance between flora and fauna, predator and prey. The coin’s reverse design is inspired by the yin yang symbol and illustrates the wolf’s strong social bonds. No matter which way you view the design, it will pull you into the wolf’s gaze. Gold and Black Rhodium! Yellow gold and black rhodium plating divide the coin’s design into two opposing but complementary elements. It is a powerful representation of a keystone species tht, historically, has been both feared and revered, though our understandingt of it has evolved and improved over time. Beneath the gold and black rhodium plating, the coin has a 99.99 % pure silver core. The matte gunmetal finish strikes a dramatic contrast next to the yellow gold. Each finish plays with light and shadows to bring out details that are otherwise unseen in the other portion of the design. Low Mintage – Limited to 4,500 coins worldwide. The circular reverse design by Claude Thivierge features a contrasting yin and yang-like representation of the grey wolf. Two wolves are positioned chin-to-chin to illustrate the tight social bonds that exist between pack members and each wolf has fixed its gaze on the viewer. Gold and black rhodium plating perfectly splits this engraved image into two opposite but complementary halves. The obverse features the gold-plated effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II by Susanna Blunt. 2014 Royal Canadian Mint $15 Silver Coin Superman Action Comics #419

How do a pair of discarded football boots and a rusted pistol combine to menace everyone in Metropolis? Why, the answer may be out of this world! In Action Comics #419, the story The Most Dangerous Man on Earth finds Clark Kent in orbit for a televised report on the launch of a telescope. But as soon as Clark sets foot back on the ground, he sets off a puzzling series of explosive chain reactions. Meanwhile, a small-time crook named Moe Malloy fishes out a pair of shoes and a gun from the river, and discovers they have unique characteristics that are perfectly suited for an unstoppable crime spree. It will be up to Superman to rise to the occasion once more and discover how these two mysterious anomalies might be linked. Published in December 1972, Action Comics #419 featured a now-iconic cover that was made all the more memorable by Superman’s expression of joy as he blasts upward, soaring high above the city below. But trouble looms, as foretold by the cover’s tagline and the story title: Wipe that smile off your face, Superman! You’ve just become the most dangerous man on Earth! Special Features: A finely-detailed reproduction of the famously beloved cover of Action Comics #419 A celebration of the iconic art that has graced the covers of Superman comic books throughout all eras of Superman’s tenure, from 1938 to the present. Different finishes and expert engraving bring the dynamic movement of the reverse image to life, creating the impression that Superman is soaring high in an attempt to break free from the coin itself. Advanced engraving techniques are used to frame the image within a series of concentric circles to create added depth and motion to the design. Design: The reverse image, provided by DC Comics, features the popular cover of Action Comics #419. An illustrated Superman is depicted in the classic iteration of his costume with the famous yellow and red S-shield. With fists clenched and a determined grin, the superhero takes to the skies high above the bustling city below, while his cape flutters behind him. By gently overlapping the inner rim of the image’s field, Superman appears to emerge from the coin itself. Packaging: Your coin is encapsulated and presented in a premium graphic case. Pure Silver Coin with Murano Glass P. All coins offered in this listing are unsearched! (see Additional Information below). All of our Canadian coins are acquired directly from the Royal Canadian Mint – The counterfeiting of numismatic coins, and the sale of stolen coins, are serious problems for coin collectors and dealers. Unlike many other coin dealers. To protect against these risks, we do not sell’second-hand’ coins. All of our Canadian coins are stored in a climate controlled, smoke-free vault. Composition 99.99% pure silver. Weight 157.6 grams (five troy ounce). Diameter 65.25 mm. Certificate serial numbered (serial numbers will vary). Artists Marie-Élaine Cusson (reverse), Susanna Blunt (obverse). Canada’s favorite festive flower will bloom forever with this coin’s stunning show of crimson glass. Murano glass dates back to eighth-century Rome, where it was a luxury reserved strictly for the rich and glassmakers enjoyed the same status as the aristocracy. A festive addition to any impressive coin display! Please review the photos carefully. The coin in these photos is the coin that you will receive. EACH MURANO GLASS POINSETTIA IS UNIQUE! This Murano glass poinsettia was individually handcrafted by master glassmaker Vio Col Vetro of Murano, Italy with a sprinkling of gold foil for an added touch of holiday sparkle that will captivate long after the potted poinsettia has faded away. 5 OUNCE PURE SILVER! Each coin is crafted from five ounces of 99.99% pure silver! The ideal diameter for such a beautiful design to showcase the Murano glass poinsettia! Limited to 1,500 coins worldwide. For our Canadian customers, this coin is GST/HST exempt. Canadian artist Marie-Élaine Cusson has created a beautiful and finely detailed backdrop to showcase this coin’s beautiful Murano glass to full effect. Six deeply veined leaves frame the red glass poinsettia with sprigs of pine needles, ferns and holly berries filling the gaps to create a vibrant, festive feel all punctuated by the shimmering gold foil embedded in the glass. From Venice to Murano glass. Murano’s renowned glassmakers were originally located in Venice, but the constant threat of fire that could destroy the city’s wooden buildings prompted officials to order their relocation to Murano, 1.5 km away in 1291 A. (just under a mile). By the end of the 16th century, 43% of Murano’s population was working in the glassmaking industry. Most of the glass referred to as Venetian glass originates from Murano. Murano’s trade secrets were so carefully guarded that craftsmen were not allowed to leave the Republic. Despite the threat of death, some glassmakers did set up foundries in nearby cities, and as far away as England and the Netherlands. Each coin is encapsulated and presented in a Royal Canadian Mint-branded maroon clamshell protected by a black beauty box. All of the coins offered in this listing are unsearched. Many coin dealers search all coins when they are received from the Mint. They “cherry-pick” the best coins. Then submit them to be graded, certified, and slabbed by PCGS, NGC, ANACS, etc. When a dealer searches coins, those that they sell in original Mint packaging are only lesser quality coins. Photos: When a listing offers multiples of the same coin, one coin is picked at random and photographed. Since all coins offered in that listing are essentially identical, the coin photographed is representative of all coins offered. Surface areas that appear black on some proof coin photos are actually highly polished, mirror-bright metal reflecting the color of the camera. We place the coin at an angle, in some photos, to better depict the mirror bright finishes. However, angling the coin usually results in one side of the coin being slightly out of focus. Whenever possible, we use actual photos of our coins, rather than just artists conception drawings from the Mint. We frequently update and upgrade the photos that appear with our listings, using improved cameras and lenses and better lighting. We will honor your requests for additional photos as quickly as our schedule permits. The item “2018 $50 Holiday Splendor, 5 oz.
