This is a TWO troy ounce. 999 fine silver coin from the Royal Canadian Mint. This 2020 Canadian Goose is a double thick. Pictures are typical of the coin you will receive. The design on this coin is inspired by the 1967 artwork of a Canadian goose that was created by Alex Colville. The design he created in 1967 was used on a commemorative Canadian Dollar issued to mark the 100. Anniversary of Canadian confederation. His original design from that release had the bird oriented flying from right to left. This design mirrors that image. Each individual coin is in Brilliant Uncirculated condition and features the micro-engraved maple leaf privy mark. Inside that privy mark is the date mark of 20 to denote the 2020 release of the coins. On the obverse face of 2020 Canadian Goose Silver Coins is the right-profile bust of Queen Elizabeth II. Her Majesty is shown here in a fourth-generation Canadian design from Susanna Blunt. This depiction was created in 2003 and is the first since the reign of King George VI to show the monarch without a crown. The reverse field of 2020 2 oz Canadian Goose Silver Coins depicts a goose in flight. The bird is shown flying from left to right in this design. The nation of issue is inscribed above, and other traditional Royal Canadian Mint markings on this face are located on either side of the design and along the bottom rocker denoting the purity, weight, and metal content.
