Each coin has a weight of 15.87 gm and a diameter of 34mm. They were designed by Aboriginal Artist Corrine Hunt. BOREAL FOREST- represents the world’s largest ecosystem, 60% of Canadian landmass and houses 80% of Canadas Aboriginal peoples. United Nations declared 2011 to be the year of the Boreal Forest.
