It is a study in contrasts, mixing raised relief with incused central elements, using a reverse proof finish with a frosted field and brilliant design, and with dark black rhodium enveloping the bright. Mintage is limited to 8,000. The coin’s reverse features Walter Ott’s iconic sugar maple leaf design, now transformed into a deep impression in the coin while maintaining all of the ultra-fine details.
