2008 Rare Limited Edition Fine 1 Oz Silver $20 Proof Coin Royal Hudson CP Train
Mint Condition with Original Box and Certificate of Authenticity. Composition: 99.99% Silver. Weight (g): 31.39. Design: The Hudson Type 4-6-4 locomotive was introduced by Canadian Pacific in 1929 and its distinctive emistreamline design was developed during its first decade of service. The engine was fitted with a stainless steel boiler jacket and was painted in silver and royal blue. Royal crests were mounted on the front and tender sides while royal crowns appeared on the side running boards. Locomotive 2850 set a North American record by completing the 4,921 km (3,061 mi) tour on its own. In fact, all Hudson 4-6-4 semi-streamlined locomotives were fitted with royal crowns in tribute to the locomotive’s outstanding service.
2020 5 Oz Pure Silver Coin Moving Christmas Train
2020 5 Oz Pure Silver Coin – Moving Christmas Train. A holiday “toy” for grownups! A beautiful sterling silver Christmas tree rises up from the centre of our latest innovative and interactive 99.99% pure silver coin. The large format 5 oz. Coin isn’t just a pedestal for our tree-we’ve added engraved touches and selective gold plating to make this an enchanting holiday scene. But the true star of this design might be the sterling silver toy train; tilt the coin and the little train moves along the tracks that surround the gifts at the base of the tree. When you tilt your coin, the little train moves along the tracks! Our latest interactive design delivers a dose of holiday cheer in the shape of a gravity-activated element that moves. TWO CAST SILVER ELEMENTS! Cast in sterling silver, the Christmas tree commands attention as it rises up from the engraved design. But the crowning touch isn’t at the top of the tree; instead, look at the base of the tree, where the toy train (also cast in sterling silver) travels along the engraved tracks whenever you tilt the coin. Selective gold plating colours the rim and the holiday wreath on the reverse. FIVE OUNCES OF SILVER! With its 65 mm diameter, this large format 5 oz. Coin allows us to add a mix of engraved and selectively gold-plated details to this top-down view of Christmas Eve or morning. A HOLIDAY GIFT THAT YOU CAN “PLAY” WITH! The moving train will make this coin one of the most talked about pieces in your growing collection. The Royal Canadian Mint certifies all of its collector coins. Cast in sterling silver, a Christmas tree rises up from the centre of this reverse design by artist Anna Bucciarelli. The design includes an engraved pile of gifts beneath the tree, along with a toy train (also cast in sterling silver) that moves along the engraved track whenever the coin is tilted. Selective gold plating colours the rim and the holiday wreath that frame our enchanting Christmas scene. The obverse features the effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II by Susanna Blunt. How did toy train displays become a holiday tradition? Some believe miniature trains reflect our enduring fascination with old-fashioned trains; some say they represent holiday travel; and others believe they are simply associated with memories of a Christmas past. A magnificent gift or addition to your extraordinary coin collection! This item is in the category “Coins & Paper Money\Coins: Canada\Commemorative”. The seller is “funcanadiancoincc” and is located in this country: CA. This item can be shipped to Canada, United States.
