It is in perfect condition and is minted to the standard of 99.99% purity!! The reverse design has a gorgeous maple leaf, an engraved musical staff and the Swarovski element. It is also double (1980 – 2020) dated on the reverse. The obverse has the brilliant relief image of Queen Elizabeth II against a satin background. The coin is minted in a beautiful reverse proof finish which means that the maple leaf, the queen’s effigy, etc. Are all in brilliant relief against a frosted or proof background. Your coin will be sent to you in its original capsule. No certificate is included. While the melody has always been the same, several English versions of’O Canada’ were introduced prior to 1980. The most recent change came in 2018, when’in all thy sons command’ was modified to’in all of us command’ to ensure gender parity.
