The coin weighs just over one ounce of pure silver. Mintage is limited to 4,000. The design features a central maple leaf shaped drusy stone set within a circle of engraved maple leaves. Bianco to highlight the autumnal beauty and textural depth of the drusy stone, the dynamic engraved background features a swirling torrent of painstakingly engraved maple leaves. This central image is encircled by Art Nouveau-inspired scrollwork that lends the coin a distinctly jewelry-like feel. Around the rim of the coin the word “CANADA” and the face value of “20 DOLLARS” are engraved. Drusy – is the glittering effect of tiny crystals that form on the surface of a colorful mineral.
