The design features a raised ultra-high relief sugar maple leaf set against a “heart of the forest” pulsating field pattern that showcases Canada’s vast forests. By tilting the coin, a unique light play creates the illusion of an endless forest on a misty day, with tall conifers seemingly falling in and out of view. Both sides are further enhanced with selective rose gold plating. The coin’s obverse includes the forest as a subtle field pattern and features the effigy of His Majesty King Charles III by Canadian artist Steven Rosati. Mintage is limited to just 8,500 coins. This is an interesting coin that changes appearance as it is turned in the light. Celebrate the legacy of the Avro CF-105 Arrow, an aviation marvel that was designed and built in Canada. In the 1950s, this supersonic aircraft was heralded as the fastest and highest-flying interceptor and “the symbol of a new era for Canada in the air”. It captured the imagination of the Canadian public, and long after the project’s cancellation in 1959, the Arrow lives on as a delta-winged symbol of Canadian ingenuity and technical achievement. Mintage is limited to 10,000 coins. The first Arrow, RL-201, is featured on this 1 oz. Fine silver coin, where the spirit of innovation that produced the storied aircraft is reflected in the waters of Lake Ontario-the very waters over which different scaled models were launched during the development phase between 1954 and 1957. The reverse design by Canadian artist Ardell Bourgeois highlights the incredible story of the Avro CF-105 Arrow through its aerial view of the 1950s supersonic interceptor jet in flight. The view is of the first Arrow, indicated by the serial number “RL-201″ (paired with the Royal Canadian Air Force classic roundel) on both the aircraft’s fuselage and in the inscription near the bottom of the design. The image pays homage to the development of Canada’s most legendary aircraft, depicting the Arrow flying over the waters of Lake Ontario, where the small scale models were tested. This is represented by the Arrow’s outline, which is engraved incuse on the surface of the water, where it invokes the achievements that made its creation possible. 2025 marks the 80th anniversary of the founding of A. And went on to become the third-largest corporation in Canada. It folded in 1962 after the Arrow’s cancellation. The obverse features the effigy of His Majesty King Charles III by Canadian artist Steven Rosati. This second coin in the series will transport you deep into Canada’s forests for a close-up encounter with an Elk. Set against a gold-plated field, the reverse design by artist Trevor Tennant features a close-up view of an elk standing along a river in its forest habitat (seen in the gold-plated background). In order to convey its size, the mature bull (male) is positioned on the outer portion next to the words “CANADA” and “2025″, its tall antlers extending past the framed center. The obverse features the effigy of His Majesty King Charles III by Canadian artist Steven Rosati. The coin has a 38 mm diameter and a weight of just over one ounce of pure silver.
