The Latin inscription “Pax” denotes the Roman goddess of peace, and serves as a reminder of Canada’s past, present, and future commitment to seeking peace, stability, and a more secure international order. Mintage is limited to only 6,000. Weight is just over one ounce of fine silver. The coin features Ultra High Relief with exceptional detail, as well as an innovative and captivating background design.
