Murano glass is famous for its bright, fluid colors, and beetle sparkles and shines with all the eye-catching iridescence that has made insects a popular form of ornamentation since ancient times. Mintage is limited to 8,500 coins. His coin’s reverse design is punctuated by a shimmering Venetian glass beetle that was handcrafted by master glassmaker Giuliano Donaggio in Murano, Italy.
