This fine silver fractional coin set features five different sizes and denominations of matching 99.99% pure silver coins with a unique maple leaf design. For the first time ever, the Royal Canadian Mint utilized an incuse design to create coins with a flat field on the surface and an engraved design. Each coin features a reverse image design by Canadian artist Lilyane Coulombe that depicts a sugar maple leaf surrounded by a decorative scroll. The design is struck into a frosted field so that the texture of the leaf is imprinted beneath the surface of the coin.
